Just bringing everyone up to date.  Right now we have 2 classes going on Wednesdays at 10 am and 5 pm. The same time is available in Hobby Lobby for Monday. Call me so I can prepare your kit!

MONDAYS

If you have a group of friends, 3 or more, that would like a class on Mondays, just called me and we can arrange it.  It can be every week or with less frequency. Normally the classes cost 10 dollars, unless the requested projects are more detaled and requires more material than the average.

December 6th

This Saturday we will work on these projects --- these are inspiration pictures you can find in my Pinterest ... the projects may vary in color and embellishments:

Are you ready for Christmas? A Christmas card to get started

Hello!

I am not ready yet but I am starting to think about all the fun projects to try out.

This was a very simple project with stamps ... I had this pretty Christmas tree and started playing with it.  It is not fancy or complicated but I love it!  It is extra special with this scalloped card I got at Hobby Lobby on the sales area!  Makes it even more special! Here it goes.

Do not forget to add some sparkle to the tree!!!

More Flags Birthday Cards

This is a very fun and colorful project.

I stampet the lines where the flags will be.   I used some tiny gems to give some sparkle...  I even included them on the stamped message.

Mini Album "My Life"

This is one of the first projects we have done at our classes at Hobby Lobby.  As always, there was some homework: to finish adding the pictures and decorations!

So here are the pictures of my album for your inspiration.  Each album will be different as our lives are different.  BUT some of the paper and decor can be used in similar ways.  Here they go!

You first start by choosing the look, the papers, and embelishment that complement the feeling you want to have.

Iused the paper distresser in every edge.

After distressing, I inked every edge giving the old, used look.

This is the final result of the pages.

I inked all the decor that could be aged.

I hope you find some inspiration in this project.  I loved working on it as I could think through things, feel thankful for all I have and dream about possibilities in the future.

Classes at Hobby Lobby this week ...

Hello ladies, so far we have two groups confirmed, that is, with people signed up.

They are:

Monday Morning, 10-12

and

Wednesday Morning 10-12

I am still available and will be there this week on both days from 5 to 7, open house style, if no one sign up.  If you want to sign up on those days there will be classes.  We still have spots in the morning times as well.

Just give me a call at 276-970-0090, Mara to sign up!

As promissed, some pictures and what to bring to complete the project.

Project of this week: we will make a mini with the theme "My Life" and 2 greeting cards. The price is 10 Dollars with all material included.  See below a few things you need to bring ...

Please bring:

1) 1 empty box of cereal or cookies (for the cover)

2) 10-12 pictures that represent you (things you do, hobbies, important people in your life).  I personally had a few family and friends pictures and then we went around the house taking pictures in my favorite spots doing things I do daily.  It was fun!  I printed mine in sepia to coordinate with the shabby look of the album, but that is up to your preferences.  Pictures should be around 4x3.

Helpful but not required:

1. a pair of scissors,
2. your favorite glue
3. ruler
4. personal cutter
5. I have my Big Shot in class, if you have dies and embossing placs, you are welcomed to bring to share.   The same goes for stamps.

These items are provided but you may have to wait for your turn in some of them.
